Tan-Tar-A Estates

Liked: The hotel is a great place to stay. Everything is at the resort that you need for a great time. Breakfast was really good. I plan on returning soon.

Liked: Poor quality. We stayed at the house in the estate where parking was so steep that it was almost impossible to drive up there.
Disliked: Carpet was dirty and all the furniture was outdated.

Disliked: I booked one of the Tan Tar A estates with a deck. I got moved into a Margaritaville room with no deck and a view of a brick wall. The WiFi was awful, parking availability was worse. I had an email offering me a free dessert at their restaurant on my birthday and the Landshark restaurant wouldnt honor it. The food was not great either. I wont ever go back.

It was ok for a last minute booking.

Liked: It was actually pretty quiet, considering it was during bikefest. Beds were comfortable. Room size was very good.
Disliked: The internet was constantly going up and down. The water smelled terrible. Had to clear cobwebs from a few of the doorways.

Disappointing, especially for the price of the room.

Disliked: The location of our room in conjunction to the main complex. Rooms were old and dated.

Overall a good experience- day staff was very friendly and helpful . Good pools

Liked: liked that everything was close by at the resort . Also liked the multiple pools available. Comfortable bed , comforter and pillows too
Disliked: The night shift staff that checked us in didnt explain that even though we had booked tan tar estates room that we were upgraded to a room at the resort . The lady at the front desk the next morning was very helpful and explained why our room was different then what I had booked . The room we were moved to at the resort also had a horrible view of a 12ft tall retaining wall on the back side of the building - they did switch us to a better room on the 6th floor with a lake view No free breakfast - they have a breakfast buffet the same quality as any other hotel but it was $15
