Great property spacious and accommodating

Liked: The property was spacious decorated with families in mind and it was in a great location. The fireplace, the kids books, the step stool all of those things helped this feel like our home away from home.
Disliked: It was much colder in traverse city then we thought it’d be and the fireplace was great but it made the hear kick off in the entire suite and when we called down the guy at the front desk was dismissive about it. The manager who came in the middle of the night was great and the rest of the staff were very nice though.

Liked: The pictures reflect the stay. I will say I’d spend more for the middle balcony view as the corner was just okay view point (this was the only con with the pics that if you’re at a balcony to the left of the building then it’s not that great). The staff were incredibly friendly at the front desk. Definitely give them a raise! The housekeepers are super nice and did a wonderful job! Give them a raise. I liked that there was designated parking. Took out the thinking of having to find a space. The lobby is beautiful. I did like that they had a booklet in the room of FAQ essentially and key points in the room of how to operate things ie fireplace etc. that is great customer service right there so bravo to whomever came up with that.
Disliked: 1. The mattress was hard. Reminded me of sleeping on a box spring, the couch was more comfortable unfortunately which was a bummer. Definitely need a massage after the stay. 2. I was on the second floor but traveling solo it was definitely concerning that the balcony door didn’t actually lock. It was low enough where someone could technically climb it and enter into the room. The screen door also didn’t function so that was a semi bummer to get fresh air in. 3. The lights around the building after dark could use some improvement. I had to grab some stuff I forgot after the sunset and noticed it didn’t feel overly safe with security lights on. 4. For safety I did give a 50/50 for the 30 min increment for the fireplace. It would be nice to have a longer timer. 5. More of a note for next level elevation - loved the shampoo scent etc, you guys could up the game with what Lifetime Fitness does - offer makeup wipe removers that are individually packed. I had some with me but it would be a nice touch to put 1-2 out as a competitor hotel I stayed at down the road that wasn’t as nice as this place had them.
