We loved our stay

Liked: The staff is wonderfully welcoming! Dakota, who was at the front desk, went out of her way to help us find a cab when our Uber didn’t work out. She was so kind and accommodating, even offering us water and hot cocoa while we waited. The decor of Tälta beautifully blends modern touches with timeless elegance. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the location is fantastic, perfectly situated between the mountain and the town of Stowe!
Disliked: The price was relatively high, but it was a holiday weekend in Vermont. The restaurant on the premises typically doesn’t allow walk-in reservations, only at the bar, which is rarely available. It’s essential to create an exception or allow guests staying at the property to make reservations at the restaurant, especially given the cost. Perhaps in the future, they can open up a café or another less formal option so guests can come and go and eat if they are snowed in!

Liked: Place was alright but not as nice as the photography made it seem. The heater was broken and it was literally 90 degrees inside the room. Strange. It wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed but not nice either. Kind of lipstick on a pig vibes. Ethos for Stowe in general.

Liked: location was perfect and the outdoor space in the back along the lake was picturesque. The rooms and social spaces were comfy and welcoming.
Disliked: I wish they had hot choc in the morning for those who don't drink tea or coffee. Maybe a water station in the lobby would be great also.
