Liked: Very disappointed as all accommodation sites (including your own website) stated “straight across the road from the beach”. This is misleading as to be expected, the beach would be visible across the road . It does not state nor imply at any stage, the beach is across the road and through the trees. No views from the motel at all. While Tallow Beach is beautiful, the motel is a total let down. $AUD365 per night we would expect more than a carpark and garden/fence view. We do know the prices around Byron are high but for good reason. This motel was not good value at all. It was old, had a smell and the bathroom had mouldy silicone in the shower and around the basin. On waking we heard profane language from outside and on our departure we knew why. Some guy talking loudly to himself and appeared on drugs. We were so pleased we were only staying for one nightOne very appreciated plus was the clean white towels and sheets, thanks for this as it did make a poor choice seem okay

Liked: Location fantastic. Room was large and bed comfortable. Housekeeping staff member Jess was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was a problem and she was very proactive as far as our needs went. She needs a pay rise.
