Liked: Good value. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: Had noise issue with group of lads on second night which led to bad night's sleep.

Liked: The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Coffee & tea making facilities in room.
Disliked: The bed was like sleeping on a brick. The shower needed a really good clean.The loud noise of banging doors from other rooms in the hotel at night, people talking until early hours in the morning outside the rooms, loud music from the gym next door early morning and late at night. You can hear the tvs on in the other rooms.A loud noise from some sort of machine from the hotel going on and off all night.Bright lights outside all night.Tv didn't have bbc channels. Picture quality was awful from tv.

Liked: Nothing worst hotel ever been in
Disliked: Bottle draw in unit full off empty spirits bottles, snail trials on carpet pillows dirty bathroom dirty, people shouting and baning all night full of homeless or asylum seekers off there face in drugs, staff wanting in our room late at night to see if any repairs needed facilities very poor we use a lot of booking.com hotels and have already booked one gor 3 weeks time but hotels like talbot will give you a bad name

Room in the heart of...

Liked: Clean basic hotel. Our room was perfectly clean, comfortable at an affordable price.
Disliked: Unfortunately they haven't had chance to refurbish the bar and kitchen but there were plenty of places for food nearby

Not very clean

Liked: The gentleman who dealt with us was very polite and helpful
Disliked: The bathroom wasn't cleaned in our room properly. There were poo stains down the seat and also looked similar on the inside of the bathroom door and the bottom tiles. The bedroom had cobwebs above the window blind. There was no fridge in the room and the bar was temporarily closed so all the facilities described weren't available
