Disliked: Everything.. stinky place.. full of smoke smell.. it was written no smoking but no control on smoking ... Rooms were small.. carpets were just full of dust.. The worst place that i have stayed at in my life....

Liked: The location was right next to Hamilton train station so it was easy to get to when arriving from Sydney
Disliked: I know this hotel is cheap and cheerful, but if you're not paying for a level of basic upkeep and hygiene then what are you paying for? The furniture in the room was stained and damaged which immediately made the whole room feel uncomfortable and gross, and the carpet was wet. Like, saturate your socks if you walk on it without shoes wet. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everyone else in the hotel moving around and talking. In the end, my partner and I disliked it so much, we didn't even stay the night. We were in Newcastle for an event and instead of staying at Sydney Junction Hotel afterwards like we'd planned, we left the event early so we could get the last train back to Sydney so we didn't have to stay there.
