Just great

Liked: Stayed on a Friday night and initially was a little concerned that it would be noisy..considering the location. However the rooms were silent and had the best sleep.
Disliked: Maybe the rooms were small but not much one can do about that!

A terrible stay from the...

Liked: The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.
Disliked: I booked this accommodation to attend a conference in Sydney. The fire alarm went off two nights in a row as a false alarm, first night a midnight and the second at 2.30am. The first night I woke up to slamming doors and the alarm going off in the middle of the night, dazed and confused I got out of bed thinking I could hear people moving down the stairs. The guests congregated in the foyer for about 20 minutes until one guest mentioned it was a false alarm. There was no apology from the staff member or any anouncment to say it was a false alarm. It was extremely unnerving and I consequently didn't sleep for the rest of the night. Exhausted I went to my conference and it happened again the second night. I wrote an email to the manager who then offered me 50% discount on my stay and then I had to email again to get 100% of my stay at no charge. I am still dealing with booking.com to get the refund. It ruined my weekend and I was unable to focus at the conference as I was so tired.
