Sydney Harbor YHA is located in the heart of the historic Rocks district surrounded by heritage buildings boutique shops cafes restaurants and bars. It is 2133 feet from the Museum of Contemporary Art and less than 20 minutes' walk from the iconic Bridge Climb Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Hostel facilities include a 24/7 reception desk free WiFi throughout a well equipped guest kitchen and guest laundry. Each of the air-conditioned rooms have a private bathroom and bed linen is provided. Double rooms include tea/coffee and towels. Shared rooms offer a private locker with a powerpoint. Very good

Liked: First time to share room with strangers and it was good that the bunkbeds has a cover for privacy. I like it too that the bunkbed has its own light and charger station
Disliked: The price,it could have been at least a $100 or less per person for a room shared with 4 people

Liked: Rooms were bigger than normal hostels, walkable to The Rocks, there were misc fun events everyday, food was cheap, staff was helpful, front desk was open 24hrs, the rooftop had a gorgeous view of sydney harbor, good place to stay if you're in a budget
Disliked: Rooms and bathroom needs to be a little cleaner, the room I was in was near the elevators so it was a little louder, it was cold in the room (window didn't seal well) so I ended up being sick haha, also need to walk everywhere as no trains or bus stop by close but maybe that's just sydney...(so if you have luggages it can be a struggle getting there on foot)

Great location, fantastic view from...

Liked: The location is unbeatable. I would say it is the most convenient area to stay for sightseeing. We booked the whole 4-bed dorm. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is well equipped. What we like the most is the view from the rooftop, you can overlook the opera house and see the sunset.
Disliked: The check-in procedure is all automatic, personally I prefer more human tough. I have received a message to tell me to download their App for better staying experience, but it is useless.
