Liked: Beautiful rooftop bar.Room was clean.Nice barista coffee cafe on site
Disliked: Very squeaky bunk beds in the family room were quite noisy with the slightest movement.

Loved the stay in YHA....

Liked: The view from the room was great at night. However, when the Cruise ships were in during the day, the view was completely blocked. From about May onwards the Cruise ships would not be in. The location was fabulous during my stay. The only problem was getting to YHA with a heavy suitcase. I had to walk a considerable distance because I could not manage to carry the case down all the steps that led to Circular Quay - no problem wandering around during the day with just a bag. Breakfast was great, very plentiful
Disliked: As above getting to and from YHA with a heavy suitcase and the Cruise Ships. Neither of these situations are in the control of YHA. I have no complaints (in fact only praise) for the actual accommodation - a fabulous location, but it is quite pricey for a room with a view when that view is blocked.

Perfect for a city break!...

Liked: Great location and area! Staff are lovely. There is lots of space in the rooms, bathroom, kitchen, rooftop etc. Bar upstairs is nice to sit and have a wine with a view of the opera house! Saw some fireworks off the roof. Nice mix of people very laid back. Coffee shop / sandwiches and snacks are really tasty.
Disliked: Nothing actually - it was a great stay
