Great as a base, wouldn't...

Liked: Location was great. I was in Sydney for a course that coincided with my wife being in St Vincent's Hospital for an operation. The location roughly halfway between King's Cross and St Vincent's made it very convenient. There was no staff for check-in after 6pm which suited me fine (less social interaction the better!)
Disliked: The room was perfectly adequate (the shower was good), but everything felt worn and cheaply done. The room felt very boxed in - there was one window but this was covered in opaque mesh. Something outside the window made loud mechanical sounds at intervals, which (had I not been so exhausted) may have caused lost sleep.

Easy check in, good location...

Liked: The location and value for money is excellent. Also the staff are super friendly and helpful - Dom went above and beyond to help me retrieve my phone after I left it behind
Disliked: Unfortunately the noise from the street outside woke me up at 3am and kept me awake for over an hour. I would also have loved a black out blind in the bathroom so that the room is not so lit up at night when you’re trying to sleep

Liked: It was perfect for what we needed
Disliked: We were in room 103 and there was very heavy rain the 2 days we were in Sydney. The spouting must have been broken as the noise of a waterfall outside of the window was very loud, this did disrupt our sleep

Liked: Very clean, comfortable & a good location. Appreciated the later checkout & the extended parking situation. Staff were very helpful.
