A great place for backpackers.

Liked: The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The location is excellent — close to everything.

You get what you pay...

Liked: - cheap for Sydney - excellent location right next to town hall station and george street
Disliked: - very basic facilities. No towels, shampoo, body soap, etc.- very very noisy. The signs say quiet time after 10pm, but people are talking in the corridors or screaming their lungs out on the rooftop till at least 1am or 2am. Don't go here if you want a good rest

Bubbly, Clean, and Safe

Liked: Place felt safe. Been to loads of hostels over the years and this place has honestly felt the safest. Two toilets and two showers in each room so no fighting over the facilities. Place was kept really clean as well. Place felt sociable and fun and after checkout they let us store our bags until we collected them that evening. Bubbly staff lead to a bubbly environment ❤️ (Also great chef)
Disliked: Air con kept at 24.5° and as travellers from a cold country, we were roasting. Then again we travelled to Australia and hot weather is a given so itll be silly to complain about it.

Good. Did the job!

Liked: I just need a night to stay after work. Did the job. Booked room with 12 girls and they were good. No issues. But all of a sudden after 11pm there was some noise not sure if from outside hostel or within hostel of some guys screaming loudly lol. Then it went away. I went back to sleep. Sleep was good. Bed firm. Blanket warm. Pillow satisfactory. Reception helped me in after 8pm and friendly.
Disliked: It wasn't easy to go out. I didn't know what button to press. It wasn't self intuitive. The elevator on level 4 worked on the way down. I tried to go back up from level 1 and it took a while so I walked instead. Then I tried to go back down from level 4 but it took a while as well. Took the stairs instead.

Superb

Liked: I loved how welcoming the staff was and the location is great. Additionally the rooms were amazing, i loved the curtains, wireless charger for airpods/ iphone, comfortable bed, and storage area underneath the bed! Would recommend for sure!
Disliked: Unfortunately I forgot to label my bag of food in the fridge and the staff took it out and put it near reception. At this point my food had been out to the fridge for at least 3 hours and it had spoiled :(
