Fantastic city break

Liked: The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds. The location was central. It was very quiet. The bathrooms were very well equipped

Bad

I wish I could get...

Liked: They gave out bus and tram passes free, but to be honest we never had to scan the passes they gave us and we used the tram and Bus several times and couldn't find anywhere to scan them and even the locals didn't know.
Disliked: This Hotel should be classified as a Motel. The atmosphere is gloomy, dark and everything from the elevator to the hallways are small and compact. The rooms smell like the haven't been cleaned in a long time and they haven't because the bathroom was disgusting and the sheets smelled so bad even our Pajamas smelled when we woke up. The room we stayed in was hot because the AC never got cold enough and the fridge was lukewarm at the coldest temperature, when we asked the staff to fix these issues there only reply was this is how it is, and I got the same response from multiple receptionists. I would not recommend this Motel to anyone. I'm 100% positive that the reviews on this Motel are written by the management or the owners because this is the only reason we chose this Motel.

Very good

Lovely hotel with chocolate perks

Liked: Excellent value for the money. Bed was very comfy, and the room was very nicely decorated. Parking was offsite at a public garage that was a 5-minute (uphill) walk away (with a 50% discount provided by the hotel). Highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional

Liked: One of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed at. The area is tranquil, no noise. The design is based on chocolate and they even have a chocolate fountain in the receptcion, my daughters loved it (and the parent too!). The staff were really nice. There is a supermarket, shops and restaurants around the hotel and it is near the old town.
Disliked: Lausanne has some ups and downs so if you come from the train station the street is a bit steep!

Liked: The place was very clean.I thought the chocolate fountain in the lobby was fun.The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: When I went to bed, I decided to watch TV.But no one has checked the remote as the batteries needed changing.I rang reception and was told that I would have to go down there and pick up some batteries. I explained that I was in bed but was told that she could not leave reception.I thought there must be someone who could bring up some batteries. I was not able to watch TV.
