Exceptional

Great location, good facilities, but...

Liked: Excellent location and good facilities. Check in was excellent. Good to have tea and coffee, although selection was limited. Some staff were friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast didn't live up to advertised expectations. Portions were small, service slow, clearly not enough staff on. Full breakfast was missing toast. Fruit and pastries for breakfast was very limited - only a compote and a Granny Smith's apple was available. Overall the cooked breakfast was also less than advertised. Although the room was well equipped we were given a cracked glass in a dangerous condition. When pointed out this was rectified, but we didn't feel that the staff really grasped that this was a serious near miss. We also ordered a meal from the bar and service was very slow - to the extent that we nearly walked out.

Liked: Comfort,location,bar,restaurant. Easy walk to the theatre.

Excellent location for town amenities...

Nice hotel

Liked: We stayed for a couple of nights as we were getting married at the registry office in Stratford. We had a lovely dinner and the staff were great to accommodate my gluten and dairy intolerances. The room was spacious, the beds are big and nice and offered a tranquil environment to get ready for our special day.
Disliked: Breakfast is not great, they offer a continental breakfast and a choice of a cooked breakfast. The continental it's not too bad, but the cooked one has no quality and was poorly cooked and served.We mentioned we were getting married and it would have definitely added to the whole experience to have had a little detail in our room for it, as many hotels do.
