Pleasant

Liked: Location was nice.
Disliked: Went to the Brewery/Pub for a meal, service was not good, so we visited and spent our money at other restaurants and had a fabulous time.

Disliked: Room was very gloomy and outdated. Rather depressing, boxed in, no outside views, and not a lot of daylight.

Great location, friendly staff, sketchy...

Liked: Extremely good location with interesting sights and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very roomy room. Not your cookie cutter hotel which made it fun.
Disliked: There is no air conditioning. On the upper floor where we stayed it was about 85 degrees. Luckily there were fans. We had a multi bedroom, full kitchen unit. The bedrooms were up a long, steep set of stairs. The bathroom was on the lower level. So getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night was not pleasant. I wish we had known it was set up this way. For some folks with any kind of mobility issues, this would have been undoable. I’m sure most of the other units were not set up this way with 2 levels.

Great location for this hotel

Liked: Wow! Great location near China town. So fun to explore the mini alleys, shops and restaurants. It is also located close to historic downtown district and waterfront (loved the taxi boats).

Character hotel room right near...

Liked: Room was lovely! High ceilings, wooden beams, double French doors to keep things quiet, comfortable bed with feather duvet and pillows, view of the harbour. Though it was above the pub, facing a busy street, it was quiet. Slept so well! Lovely character room with great artwork.
