Liked: Not only where we put on a floor with guest of a wedding that went to 1am we also had children screaming from 630 in the morning till 7 when they left they then returned at 8 and the child screemed and cried in the hallway (sounded like the hallway) for an hour so because of the noise we didn't get to sleep till after 1 and were woken up at 7am . We had brought drinks and cake and some icecream as we were going to a bday party and the fridge was either broken or switched of who knows but we wernt told so when we went to grab the stuff out everything was hot and smelt funny as the fridge had clearly been of for a while so had to throw away the food .. then during the night the aircon didn't seem to be working and when I looked it's was dripping a lot of water so had to sleep with no aircon . No milk in the morning for a tea or coffee reception didn't even mention there's a wedding, and it may be a bit noisy .. I do stay at a lot of hotels and have been here before, which wasn't so bad, that's why we have come back, but this time I'm just completely disheartened... I even requested a early check in that wasn't avalible but usually if ur there early they allow u to use the facilities but they dont allow that at this hotel which was disappointing when u check in at 3 (yes check in is at 2 but you dont get to the counter till 3) you don't get to use the facilities because the day is basicly gone and by the time it's time to check out the day has barely started .. it's horrible to say but i feel like a motel would of been up to this standard

Disliked: We have booked 5 nights. Only stayed for one night. Canceled.4 nights from booking, and booking contact hotel still no reply. No one respond. And talked to reception 2 time. Different staff talk different. Not trying to solve the problem. Whole hotel smells and dirty. Bad experience.

Not worth the money

Liked: The restaurant had amazing food.
Disliked: The hotel's initial impression wasn't great, starting with a noticeable musty odor in the lobby. The decor choices throughout the hotel felt somewhat offbeat and didn't really enhance the overall atmosphere. Requiring a $500 security deposit seemed a bit steep, which might deter guests from staying there if they're not completely satisfied.Finding parking was like going on a treasure hunt, but the treasure was a bunch of old mattresses and trash in the underground lot. When we finally got to our room, the door was open in the dark, and bugs had basically moved in. Plus, the silverware wasn't clean. The furniture looked unique, but it wasn't comfy, except for the beds—though they only gave us two pillows.On a positive note, the hotel restaurant stood out. The food was well-prepared and presented nicely. However, the rest of our stay had some issues. We were disturbed by the noise of doors closing throughout the night, and a fire alarm went off briefly at midnight without any explanation or follow-up from the hotel staff.Getting the security deposit back was also more complicated than it needed to be. The hotel contacted me six hours after check-out, asking me to return to the front desk. After some back-and-forth, I had to share personal details to get my money back. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel and suggest others might want to consider alternatives to avoid potential disappointment.

Exceptional

Good location for airport

Liked: Location near airport and river. Twin beds were a good size, reception helpful re loan of tape measure to check bag sizes.
Disliked: Carrying heavy bags up stairs. Noisy air-conditioning, noisy neighbours in corridor & parking areas at night, noisy of neighbour's air conditioning vibrating through building structure. Pool cold. Surprised at need of 500 AUD bond for room - first time - was this I was a foreigner; room paid for in advance in full.
