Marred Check in Experience.

Liked: Location and room were excellent with complimentary fridge and bottles of water that we were grateful for in the hot weather we experienced during our stay.
Disliked: On check in I was advised in a full bar area that my payment had been declined twice which was very embarrassing! To be fair they did ask me to go behind the bar and tried to obtain the money from Booking.Com again and got the same failed message. I was therefore left with no option but to pay the cost of the room again, otherwise they wouldn't have passed over the room key. At this stage I do not know who is at fault, even though my PayPal account and credit card statement clearly shows the full payment was taken when I completed my booking back in May.

Liked: Friendly staff and very nice food.
Disliked: Rooms a bit basic

Eastern delight

Liked: Clean, comfortable rooms, great food, ideally located for touring East Anglia, The Broads, Norwich, etc. dog friendly, well stocked and good choice of drinks, good customer service with very amiable and friendly staff, happy to recommend and more than happy to return.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Superb

We enjoyed it.

Liked: I would describe the evening meals we had there as standard pub food. The portions were large and were good value for money. We did not have breakfast.The room met all our needs. It was clean and comfortable There were toiletries (including proper soap) in the bathroom and tea, coffee and water available in the room. There was plenty of parking.
Disliked: There was nothing we disliked. Given the cost of the room, food and drinks we thought it was good value for money when comparing it with other properties of a similar price.

Liked: The room and adjoining bathroom were very well designed and arranged and immaculately clean, and mine host is much to be complimented on the attitude of his staff and his personal input into what deserves to continue a thriving business catering for the local as well as the tourist community
Disliked: My only sadness was that, having arrived at 2pm as arranged, I did not immediately order lunch. Though theoretically it was served until 2.30, on a hot afternoon when there was likely to be little more demand the team had understandably - but disappointingly for me - turned off their fryer by 2.20pm.
