Liked: Graeme made me feel very welcome. Greeted me on arrival, and discussed the history of the area and told me places to visit. The free breakfast selection was great. the bed was very comfy and the room was very quite and comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Martinborough. Graeme said goodbye as I left.

An amazing stay!

Liked: We had a wonderful experience at Swan House. The location is ideal—close to many wineries, and they even provide free bikes, which made exploring the area super convenient. The facilities are excellent: clean, tidy rooms with a fridge, air conditioner, and TV with access to a great selection of movies. The beautiful garden and the presence of a sweet little cat made the atmosphere even more relaxing.What truly impressed us was the thoughtful and generous range of complimentary food and drinks—not just tea, coffee, and milk, but also toast, all kinds of jam, yogurt, fruit, several types of oats, lollies, chips, and juice. The homemade cookies were especially delicious!We arrived two hours earlier than our scheduled check-in, and the host kindly asked us to return after a short wait and then helped us check in early. Since it was a quiet Tuesday, we were even upgraded to a better room—such a lovely gesture!When we mentioned that we forgot our phone charging cable, the host went out of their way to bring us a few spares to try. Although none of them ended up fitting, we really appreciated the warm-hearted effort.Inside the room, there was also a great selection of brochures and maps about local wineries and restaurants, including opening hours and sample menus (some info could use a small update, but still very helpful!).All in all, it was a fantastic stay. We’ll definitely choose Swan House again next time we’re in Martinborough!

Perfect retreat to come back...

Liked: Great location close to town. Spacious, stylish and very comfortable studio apartment with all the little extras - complimentary continental breakfast including muesli, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, spreads, orange juice, fancy coffees, etc .......also home baked cookies and chocolate treats. We took advantage of the complimentary bikes & helmets to ride to a local winery, then into town. Off road car parking & lovely private grounds including a sunny deck to enjoy a coffee or a wine. Will definitely be back and highly recommend 👌
