Disliked: Bit expensive for the experience

Liked: Super friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, quiet, great food for dinner and a fresh breakfast. We hope to return soon.

Passable

Disliked: Not worth the money at all. Walking the Cotswolds Way, I stayed in a lot of accommodations, all of them were cheaper and had more to offer. Wouldn't recommend for such an absurd price.

Adequate but clean.

Liked: Continental breakfast, limited selection, fresh pastries would have been much nicer
Disliked: Rooms are stiflingly hot, hotel beds cheap and not the most comfortable. Shower was either tepid or burn.

Nice staff, noce room, but...

Disliked: Really noisy because there is a popular pub in the hotel with people shouting outside out window half the night.

So modern and old world

Liked: Brand new room. Fully renovated and modern. Beautiful bathroom. Above the old pub so you could experience the feel of the old world. Restaurant was lovely.
Disliked: Unfortunately you could hear a loud vent running from the restaurant next door to the hotel if windows were open.

We would not recommend anyone...

Liked: Updated rooms were nice, new bathroom and bed etc. Our luggage was delivered ti our room before we got there.
Disliked: The staff were untrained and unqualified at the front desk and restaurant and pub. Did not like walking through the construction areas. Food was average but lacking. Staff was overwhelmed, unprofessional, abrupt, and unsure of what they should be doing. Not a welcoming place. For what it cost per night, it was not worth the stay.

Liked: Convenient stop along the Cotswold Way. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, with a very nice bathroom and comfortable beds. A great place to rest after a day of walking!
Disliked: The breakfast included in the price is very light.
