In the Suffolk countryside between Bury St. Edmunds and Sudbury this beautiful 15th-century building offers 4-star accommodations and a restaurant with 2 AA Rosettes for its fine food. Lavenham is one of the best-preserved Tudor villages in Britain and The Swan Hotel & Spa is perhaps one of England's finest historic hotels. We enjoyed a wonderful stay...

Liked: Cozy, clean, free parking, easy access to everything in town.
Disliked: So many little stairs but that really was part of the charm once we adjusted.

Liked: Excellent service and polite staff. The Airmen’s bar was excellent
Disliked: No Banana’s for breakfast on most of the days. Could offer some fresh bread rolls

Lovely, relaxing, beautiful hotel. Will...

Liked: Everything!! Beautiful old building, with books and crannies.Spa was exceptional, little extra touches made it very special. Staff were lovely both in the hotel and spa.
Disliked: Check out at 11am, would prefer a midday check out.

An excellent Hotel which ticked...

Liked: The Swan Hotel is luxurious and classy as well as authentic and quaint. Food choices were excellent in either the Gallery restaurant or the BrasserieFabulous rooms with everything you need.Weaver's Spa was fantastic.
Disliked: The WIFI in the room was too slow

Liked: Reception very helpful on check in.Breakfast was good, though could have done with more fresh fruit.Room was quaint.
