Great location and welcoming hosts...

Liked: It was our second time staying at Swallows Rest and we were met with a warm welcome. The room had everything we needed including a welcome homemade cake. Jane's breakfast remains superb and a great way to start the day with a wonderful offering of fresh fruit, homemade muesli, freshly baked bread and eggs straight from the hens. The weather was beautiful and I was able to enjoy seeing all the animals including their new goats and ventured out along the coastal walk.

lovely place to stay

Liked: very friendly and everything was clean and comfortable. Happily accommodated our early breakfasts with fresh bread and eggs as well as homemade granola, preserves and fresh fruit.

We came for a few days relaxation by the coast and thats what we got.

Superb

Liked: The room was lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly and absolutely beautiful gardens and grounds.
Disliked: The breakfast was nice although the brown sauce was definitely off and vegetarian sausages were very hard. Loved thr granola though!
