Perfect Boutique Hotel

Liked: The location was steps away from the beach and perfect for exploring the local area by foot! The "contactless check-in" was a bit of a concern, but the hotel was amazingly professional sending over the forms and codes + explaining parking prior to arrival.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing! We had an amazing time and have already recommended this hotel to friends looking to stay in Hermosa!

Nice place, friendly & helpful...

Liked: Location was great - just steps to the pier, walked to everything nearby. Parking space was available to rent and was convenient and appreciated. Roof top deck was amazing. I could see a snazzy event held there. Staff were very helpful - even after hours by text. Small kitchenette was great to have and liked the little balcony to catch the breeze and enjoy the sunshine.
Disliked: The room we stayed in smelled from the restaurant next door. Staff brought fans to help air out - helped some.Ceiling fan didn't work, then started on its own in the middle of the night but with the light on so to turn off the light, it wouldn't run only as a fan which made it stuffy. Battery or electrical issue I guess.

Good location but we would...

Liked: Nice staff, good starting point to explore Hermosa
Disliked: Poorly soundproofed - we could hear everything from our neighbours(cellphone vibration(!), talks, movement) and unfortunately we had a room without a window, which was really weird.

Liked: Location = 10Parking = 0Rooftop deck = 10Room = 10
Disliked: There is absolutely no place to park...unless it's between 1am and 9am.

Disliked: The room did not feel clean it had stains on the wall and little bug flying and crawling

Overall I enjoyed my stay...

Liked: It was clean and quiet.
Disliked: We had only one small hand soap for the shower for 2 days and I was hoping they had a shower soap.

Exceptional

Liked: This perfect little boutique hotel is a wonderful place to either relax or party. So you have the beach, which is one short block to relax on the sand and enjoy the beautiful ocean water of Hermosa. You may want to enjoy the nightlife AS well, PERFECT! Everything is here for you to enjoy. Their free bikes in the lobby help you to explore the area, which is a plus plus. Which is awesome in any direction you go. Great restaurants. I must say that the staff were amazing. The rooms are very secure and comfortable. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A VERY BUSY AREA.I just can't say enough of how I enjoyed my stay. Oh, and the roof top view and the area to relax or grill or maybe have a nice glass of wine is perfect. Enjoy. Thank you, SW BEACH HOTEL. I WILL BE BACK
