Absolutely magical place

Liked: Amazing small hotel in the castle building, each room is a work of art, decorated by artists ♥️ Special atmosphere, the vaults are decorated with old wood, several common spaces are available to all guests - two living rooms and a large kitchen-dining room. Very clean and welcoming, beautiful park and landscapes around.
Disliked: We had a family room with a second room - with fold-out beds - they were hard to sleep on. Breakfast could have been more varied.

Liked: The location was better than expected. It was lovely to be among the swallows flying around the Castle.
Disliked: We had some difficulty receiving the entry code to enter the drive, this experience could easily be simplified by providing it along with the receipt for payment, rather than relying on us to dig through emails to independently contact the venue with a request for a code.

A quirky property with good...

Liked: An interesting old property that was probably very impressive in its day. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice. Parking onsite was good.
Disliked: The property is located in a public park with a barrier at the front, so can be a little tricky to find. It is a big rambling building that is partially renovated.

A great stay on our biking tour along the Loire to the sea.

Liked: An extraordinary site to sleep. You feel like a owner of a castle. We were with bikes. A shed for them is available. Nice, clean and special equipped and decorated rooms. A big kitchen where you can cook or make a picnic with the food you have to bring yourself. Drinks like beer/wine can be bought. A very nice and helpful young women at reception.
Disliked: For us everything was fine.Reception is not occupied during night.
