Liked: Proximity to beach
Disliked: Room smelled like a strong oder of bleach. I complained to from desk (kam) and he card like he did not notice. Horrible for kids and anyone with breathing issues. The room/208 looked and felt like a jail cell. Looked like 3-4 rooms were using the hotel to throw parties. Parking was not available at night.

Do not stay here!

Liked: The location was the ONLY good thing I have to say.
Disliked: $400 for a motel room with paper thin walls with holes, chipping paint and clearly some sort of liquid dried onto it, old furniture tossed about outside of the bedroom window in the back, people smoking marijuana in the parking lot, homeless cars jampacked with belongings in the parking lot and very loud people coming in and going at all hours of the night. I would never never never stay here again. Please, if you have children do not get lured in by the fact that this motel has a pool and a hot tub. I don’t believe any of it to be safe. I’ve stayed at other places in town that are a better value. Surf city inn, it’s time for you to use some of your outrageous fees to update this building.

The staff was great, but...

Liked: Easy to walk to the boardwalk. It once we drove to dinner, we came back to no available parking.
Disliked: Broken shower head, Luke warm shower, dirty room, broken irons, and a huge spider in our room. We are not complainers, for $399 a night, it should’ve been a little bit better. Especially have an available parking spot for each person renting a room.

Disliked: - Blocked shower drain- Ripped towels - Dirty, brown/yellow stains on the walls - Extremely noisy- constant shouting - Worst room- extremely noisy as right beside cleaning office, things being banged off shared wall- WiFi didn’t work - blinds on both windows were broke / parts missing- people could see in
