SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western The Villages

Strict 3PM check in. Told there was no room available at 2PM even though the parking lot was empty! Most employees unfriendly. Room rates too expensive because a small band was performing at The Sharon L Morse Center.

Liked: Free Parking.
Disliked: Dirty carpet; small TV; pillow case was dirty; bathroom fan switch not working; bad smell.

Liked: Did not eat breakfast there.
Disliked: 1st room offered smelled of smoke, bed was old, mattress bellied in middle, pillow cases were disgusting, so old they were yellow. Requested a different room. 2nd room was better, but that wasn't hard to beat. Could not open door, electronic lock would not work, staff had to jiggle and push on door to get it to open.

Liked: The rooms were nice very quiet place...
Disliked: Front desk lady accused of us of smoking in our rooms she said the smell was coming from our room which is completely not true..we got a non smoking room so we didn't smoke in our room... Another customer said the smell was coming from near her room which was around the corner from us.. then at checkout the front desk lady was very rude to my husband. Really enjoyed this place accept the front desk.. she was in her early or mid thirty s African American.. a regular customer there told us she is always rude and in a bad mood..

Liked: The staff were very friendly especially Scott at the front desk, he was very warm, patient and accommodating.
Disliked: I have no complaints
