The train fails you.

Liked: The room was clean; breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: What I did not like was the door of the bathroom not able to close properly without hitting the toilet. Another, thing I dislike was the location of the hotel is next to a train rail; I had to hear the train in the middle of the night. If I would've know there was a constant train passing, then I would have not booked with your facility.

Liked: Location and price are the factors that cause me to even think about staying here.
Disliked: The room space isn't well utilized. I've stayed a few times in different rooms and the furniture is crammed in and not functional. Seems furniture was purshased without consideration of how/where it will go.

Barebone hotel (basics only) for...

Liked: * The price is decent (~$100/night)* Not too far away from Berkeley (~20-30mins drive)
Disliked: * Only two towels provided for a family of 3 (with reservation). Generally, the staff was OK, but did not seem to care much about anything.* Noise from nearby railroad, including in the middle of the night* Several brightly blinking lights outside, making it very uncomfortable to have the blinds even slightly pulled after sunset. Nobody cared to fix them (for 6 days), even after I (and another customer) complained. * "Breakfast" was the most barebone I have ever seen in a hotel/motel. Good to have it if you are really hungry/dying, but I skipped it most of the days.* No gym/fitness room - removed after some accident during Covid days and nobody cares to fix it.
