Liked: The hotel has everything you need, everything was tidy and clean. The breakfast was sufficient. The standard for this kind of hotel. It is 5 minutes away with the car from the center of Berkeley Springs. Room service came, although we stayed only 2 nights. It is not a standard anymore these days...

Liked: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was obvious that it had been updated recently. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and coffee and tea were available 24-7 in the lobby. Really enjoyed our stay. Restaurant on the property was a plus. Good food at good price.

Liked: How clean the room was and how pleasant the staff were.
Disliked: We had requested a King Bedroom and didn't pay attention to the fact that it had a "Roll-In" Shower, obviously for handicap purposes. The set-up in the shower made it impractical for normal use as the shower head faced out into the rest of the bathroom area, the water spray would hit the shower curtain and leak (with pressure) out into the bathroom floor and made the floor dangerously slippery. We had to place towels on the floor for safety. I spoke to the front desk and offered the suggestion of installing a shower wand holder at one end or the other of the stall to allow for a "normal" use experience of the shower and to lower the danger of the slippery floor. They were very grateful for the suggestion.
