Disliked: Swimming pool and hot tub was closed due to maintenance,found a live roach in the bathroom, backside of the hotel was very trashy, there where syringes on the ground by back door informed hotel clerk about them.

Liked: The hotel is located directly off the interstate, very convenient .
Disliked: As we walked down the hall to get to the stairs since the elevator wasn’t working, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke filled the hall. Oddly enough every door we walked past had a no smoking sign on it. Our room was located at the top of the stairs on the second floor, again, a no smoking room. We walked in to the smell of cigarette smoke that it seemed someone had attempted to cover up with some sort of air freshener. In the room, a light fixture or some sort of electrical attachment had been removed from the ceiling with the wires left exposed. We found no smoke detector but did notice what appeared to be a smoke stain on the ceiling. In the bathroom the light/vent piece in the ceiling was hanging down where it had either fallen or not been placed appropriately. This was enough to cause us to want to leave and not even worry about the money we were losing. There was just no way we were staying there. Even though we had just driven 9 hours and had 7 more to go, we left about five minutes after we checked in. When we turned the keys back in the receptionist simply asked if we had messed anything up. She had no other questions. Do not stay here!

Liked: I paid for a Jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi Jets only one worked. I decided to stay in a regular room the second night I paid for and booked the night before the second day going around that second day was around and the owner has a worker come knock on my door and hand me her phone and is demanding the I owe her cash besides the money for the room for a late checkout when I didn't check out I just was switching rooms and then try to tell me I was going to have to sit in a while until 2:00 or 3:00 until a room was ready and literally moved me from the room I should have been in truly to a room upstairs that isn't even the same accommodations for what I paid for I was supposed to get to queen size beds I got one king size bed the swimming pool is green the property has a lot of drifters homeless looking people it's truly a Topeka hotel! They should probably be located on Southwest Topeka boulevard!
