Like the hotel clean and...

Liked: Ok
Disliked: The bathroom was very slippery hard to take a shower the handle was outside and at the end of tub hard to hold on and shower

Condescending staff, yelling at female...

Liked: Location and interaction with the manager.
Disliked: The pool was closed all 3 days we were there. However, when my wife noticed people swimming in it and attempted to find out if it had been reopened, she was approached by a woman (presumably housekeeping, she didn't identify herself) and with a raised voice (yelling) told my wife and 6 year old child that the pool was closed. The condescending way to talk to a paying guest and the raised voice prompted my wife and kid to leave in such a hurry that she left the room card behind. When I went to retrieve it, the same lady confronted me as well. This was completely uncalled for and unacceptable. I even felt it necessary to request they skipped cleaning our room, as I felt very uncomfortable thinking this same aggressive person would be near our belongings in our absence. As I told the manager the next day (who was understanding and apologetic), staying at this property was the worst part of our visit to Helen, and I wish I had researched my options better.

Nice location to everything

Liked: Nice location to walk to everything in downtown.
Disliked: Requested a balcony room but didn't realize there was construction going on that blocked and disturbed our view.

Very pleasant and close to...

Liked: Tammy checked us in, and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The TV was difficult to turn on and find channels, and the sheets felt a little gauzy (I admit to being a sheet snob, lol).

Rude general manager pool not...

Disliked: The pool was out of order I called the desk and was told that we could go on in they forgot to take the sign downThen the next day the general manager Ager came out to the pool and was very irate with us saying it was out of order not to be used but it wasn’t locked
