Room amenities do not work,...

Liked: Nice staff but limited to one staff member at any time so they were overwhelmed, partly because of all of the room problems . They did their best and were courteous .
Disliked: Rooms low quality. Huge carpet puddle /soggy area next to bed. TV didn’t work at all either so finally asked to switch rooms. New room didn’t have a fridge (we had food) so we had to request one. The next morning we found out the hair dryer didn’t work so had to request a replacement. On last day, calling front desk, realized phone wasn’t functional either so called from my cell. Requested a one hour later checkout. The answer was “no”. I would not ever stay here again. As far as the staff, they did their best, but with the amount of broken/non functioning items, they were too busy. Overall the rooms were outdated as well. Creepy mirrored walls that looked like those dark one way see through windows. I was just severely disappointed that they had so many non functioning items. And I mean, TV didn’t turn on, even with staff help. Refrigerators are not in every room. Soggy wet carpet in areas, Hairdryers didn’t work, phone is on functioning. This would be a last resort desperate measures place to stay if the entire town is booked solid for Hokie events. Buyer beware! (and I am very tolerant, rarely complain)

Disliked: The rooms were a little too small and mine didn’t come with a fridge when it advertises online that every room would come with a little fridge.

Great value and good hotel.

Liked: Breakfast was good, hot coffee, a microwave for breakfast sandwiches, toaster for bagels, yogurt and the basics. A waffle or pancake maker would be even better. The beds were comfortable and the overall value of the night's stay was great.
Disliked: The room was a bit unkempt. There was a large drain in the floor of our bathroom which was a major fall hazard, the TV had wires haphazardly behind it, the refrigerator needed to be cleaned out.

Liked: It was cheap and that was clearly the selling point. The AC worked great.
Disliked: It felt kinda like a college dorm room. I booked it because it was cheap and feel like I got what I paid for.
