SureStay Hotel by Best Western Bardstown General Nelson

We rented three rooms for the family. We had an enjoyable trip to the Kentucky Railway Museum and enjoyed our stay at The General Nelson Inn. Very nice rooms and a good restaurant located nearby. We would return again and again and will let others know of our experience.

Liked: Location; price; looks; nearby very good restaurants.
Disliked: I don't believe there were any bad qualities.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good.
Disliked: There was a large group that hung out by the pool and smoked. Our room was located in this area. i would prefer a non-smoking property.

Disliked: There was a gathering area rite outside our front door. People sitting at tables talking. Til 12 / 1 am.. didn't get much sleep.. the sausage gravy at breakfast had no sausage in it. Not so good... noise from the cars and trucks flying by kept us up as well.

Liked: Tamika at the front desk is fantastic and knowledgeable Easy check in Lisa is amazing in the large clean breakfast room with a great selection of fresh food and coffee she also seems to be on top of room care which appears newly remodeled but I believe it’s because Lisa is caring for the details so we’ll

Liked: Everything was nice and clean. Beds very comfy.
Disliked: Check out time was at 11am. Cleaning people came straight into our room at 10am with out knocking or announcing themselves. When I informed the front desk all I got was I'm sorry. That was out first time staying there and wasn't to happy with that.
