Comfortable and convenient

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful - even letting my Dad wait in the lounge the next day after we had checked out, while he waited for me at an appointment. Location was great - walking distance to UoR and to a small set of shops/restaurants/supermarkets (in both directions from the hotel). The room was quiet, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, there was a TV, fridge, microwave and cutlery in the room and you are allowed to bring in takeaways and food to eat in your room. Breakfast was excellent - we both had the full English and there is a buffet too with cereals, pastries, yogurt, fruit, etc. Plenty of parking spaces. We would definitely stay here again in the future - good night's sleep.

Good location and value

Liked: Friendly staff, ample parking, clean comfortable rooms
Disliked: Bar closed at 11, which is no problem, but we were asked to vacate the lounge at that time so they could "get their cleaning jobs done"... Felt a bit like a hostel in that respect, never encountered this before!

Comfortable and Functional, with good...

Liked: Good service, good facilities in room, close to local amenities and close to the university and Reading town centre.Rooms are far from luxurious, but cozy and comfortable.
Disliked: Walls are thin (nothing too horrendous but could hear things in other rooms.Shower jet was a little weak.

Exceptional

Liked: Very spacious room, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchenette. Newly renovated bathroom with a powershower
Disliked: Only issue was the blinds let in too much light in the morning but didn't effect sleep!

Pleasent hotel in convenient location.

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located for my needs and has free parking. I have stayed at this hotel several times and the coach house/annexe is very convenient to load and unload the car and is very quiet, at the back of the hotel. Also, the fact that you can open the window in your room.
Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom are quite cramped for a couple.
