Comfy bed, good breakfast, old...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Bed was very comfy. Location for our visit to Reading was convenient. Plenty of car parking. Check and check our processes were slick. Plenty of towels.
Disliked: Room was absolutely sweltering and on ground floor so couldn't open windows. Fan didn't help temperature. Bathroom was tiny and shower also very small and door didn't shut properly. Cleaners were trying to get into our room an hour before checkout. Car park by our building was accessed by very narrow entranceway bound by overgrown hedges but you couldn't tell if the hedges hid a wall/other obstruction so not great when trying to access/egress car park. Building where we slept (not main building) is tired and needs some TLC.

Liked: Great budget hotel. Everything you need for a basic stay and very good location. Lovely staff.
Disliked: No bin in the room.

Good basic stay

Liked: Good value for money, stayed there during Reading festival and location is walking distance. Was able to check in early, staff was very friendly, everything was clean. Over all basic but great stay
Disliked: room could use a renovation (looked a bit tired)

Liked: Beds were comfortable and room was spacious enough for 3 people (even when 6 of us were in there getting ready together still felt like good amount of space)
