Liked: I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The hotel was well-located. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was varied and delicious. My room had a lot of character and I really appreciated the charming decoration—it made the stay feel special. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Disliked: The stairs but I think it's inevitable in Amsterdam.

Liked: I liked the location and the unique interior in a historic canal building
Disliked: The cleanliness was an issue unfortunately and despite flagging this to staff attention it didn’t really make much of a difference. I fire alarm also sounded at around 130am on our first night and there seemed to be a lack of disregard for safety by the night staff

Disliked: The room was terrible, the toilet was so open that you could not use for number 2. Needed to go down stairs. Asked for soap in the downstairs bathroom 4 times before they put soap there
