Very pleasant and roomy place...

Liked: Breakfast was complete. Very clean. Heat, shades, tv-all worked well. Room was very large. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Just a tad noisy- thin walls maybe??

Disliked: The shower toilet area was way too small. You need to put a door to close off the sink area and the shower toilet to make it useable. Put a pocket door in between the 2 and you’re good.

An excellent place to stay...

Liked: I recently had broken my leg and was walking very slowly with a cane. There was heavy snow during my stay and the hotel staff shoved snow so I could park my car near the entrance to my room. They also carried my suitcase to my room and from my room to my car the next morning. The free breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of meat, eggs, waffles, bagels, muffins, and cereals. Whenever I return to Marquette, this is where I will stay..!!

One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its prime location—Northern Michigan University is just around the corner, providing easy access to the campus. Downtown Marquette’s restaurants, cafés, and shops are all within a short walk or drive, making it easy to explore the local scene. Plus, Lake Superior and Presque Isle are just a quick drive away, perfect for those looking to experience the area’s natural beauty.The hot breakfast selection was satisfying, offering a great way to start the day, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Another standout feature is the availability of free on-site parking, which adds even more convenience to an already excellent stay.Overall, this hotel excels in service, comfort, and location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Liked: Great location, close to local eateries and the downtown
Disliked: The heater in our room made clicking noise all night long . We finally turned it off .

I want to keep this...

Liked: Spacious room, free laundry machine available to use, breakfast was phenomenal, the entire place was well kept, staff was kind approachable and accommodating.
Disliked: There isn’t a pool or hot tub which is fine but the kids love having that as an option. The pro is that the whole place doesn’t smell like bleach and there’s isn’t water all over the halls.
