Motel 6 experience for 200+

Liked: Restaurant wasnt bad
Disliked: No continental breakfast or room service in morning, restaurant not open in morning, pool dirty, room dirty, staff didn't give me key cards when I checked in so I had to go back to the desk . It was a motel 6 experience for 216 dollars. I need 166 dollars refunded so it would be like I paid 50

Great location, beautiful and comfortable...

Liked: Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds. Nice, lakefront grounds. Wonderful, helpful front desk staff.
Disliked: Our room was very noisy, caused by two different issues. 1) Whenever the people in the room directly above us walked around in their room it sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling of our room. The floor above us was creaking and groaning - it was pretty awful, especially since they didn’t go to bed until quite late. 2) It was raining and the water was dripping onto our air conditioning unit. It was extremely loud - to the point where we could hardly hear the TV and it was very hard to get to sleep. Between those two things, it made our stay pretty miserable during the night.

Liked: Enjoyed a suite style room as it gave us more room as a family. Spent time along the lake shore. Family friendly with indoor/outdoor pools and outdoor play areas.
Disliked: Room rate was more expensive due to grandmas weekend.

We were disappointed!

Liked: Location, only place available since my husband was running the Grandma's Marathon. They did hand out nice backpacks with water and a granola bar
Disliked: Got into our room only to find out the door would not lock! Had to move to another room and the 2nd room didn't have a security chain, you could see that was torn out of the woodwork but at least the door locked. We did not have a microwave as promised and I confirmed that twice through phone calls. Carpet was disgusting, beds were small, windows were rotted.

Liked: The room and view of the bay were excellent and the indoor/outdoor hot-tub was amazing!

Perfect…absolutely perfect but too short!

Liked: Loved the room, deck was great also beach access was perfect! Pool was great also. The staff was amazing. Neither of our tvs worked but that’s minor. Great place!
Disliked: The deck need some serious washing as it developed a lot of green mold. Some of that is to be expected but it need to be maintained or it will be a costly repair in the near future. It did not impact us but I’m concerned for the longevity of the building.
