Liked: I like that it's located right off the highway. We were traveling to and from Iowa and Texas. This was our sleeping spot.
Disliked: It smelled lovely but strong in the lobby but once you went to the guest hallways it smelled bad. Smelled like it was coming from the carpet like old stale water and the doors and the walls needed to be Completely ripped out and redone. The smell was NOT pleasant. And smells keep me up and make it hard for me to sleep and rest. The first night I had driven 8 hours to get there and had 5 more to do the next morning to get to my destination. After being at my destination for about 3 hours I drove another 5 hours back to the same hotel to sleep and had an 8 hour drive to get myself and my kids back home to Texas.I didn't like that I had to call front desk a couple times when I was ready to check out at 5am when it was time for us to get back on the road. I paid a cash deposit and I needed it back to use for the next night's stay, otherwise I would have used my card for the deposit, left and let it be refunded to my card. When booking online after I found out we would need the room a second night the same room was not available so I had to do a whole new booking. I went down to get the van situated and cleaned up while the kids got ready and there was a sign at the desk saying they would be back in 5 to 10 minutes as they were in a guest room, which I found weird that it said that. Just say had to step away be back in 10 minutes. Or Overnight staff is relaxing for the night please call them directly at this number if you need assistance 999.999.9999. Anyway, I figured by the time I get back upstairs to get the kids and check the room, the attendant would for sure be back. But no. I called the first time and no answer at the front desk. I figured they would hear it ring and just come to the front. First time it rang until it stopped ringing in the hotel and it was only ringing on my end. I hung up and called again. Did the same thing exact thing only this time a man answered that sounded like he'd just woken up.

Convenient stop during a roadtrip.

Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Breakfast was not set up when it was supposed to open. lighting in room could be improved.

Liked: The staff and the hotel were pretty decent.The fact that booking.com does not inform you of any deposit details made this trip very unpleasant.

I had to miss two hours of work because the deposit was not in my budget and i had to spend time figuring how to come up with the new deposit to continue my stay . Instead of going to work and making money.Must unenjoyable
