Ok, but disappointing

Liked: Convenient. Dining within walking distance. Good price. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast choices.
Disliked: Room was disappointing. There was a very unpleasant damp odor that even an open window didn't improve. Both chairs were soiled & worn. Carpet needed to be vacuumed. One lamp flashed off & on (the bulb was not loose) & another lamp had a faulty switch. We expect a glitch or 2 in an older motels, but this was a little more than expected.
