Pleasantly impressed with the recently...

Liked: All new appliances, beds, carpet, etc. great value for the money. Quite.
Disliked: Appeared to be several questionable characters loitering around.

Bad

Liked: I was in town for a movie filming in the area. The motel was only a few minutes from that location. There were not a lot of options, but this one was recommended by two others also in town to work with the movie. I live only 2 hours and 45 minutes away, but had been up all night the night before having to drive to Sumter and worked all day. I booked the recommended motel online so I could get a good night's sleep when we get finished filming before getting on the road. However, despite the great location, no sleep was to be had.
Disliked: I had a late check-in as we didn’t finish working on the movie scene I was in town for until approximately 7:30pm, getting to Super 8 around 8:30ish. When I entered the room, everything looked very neat and clean UNTIL I saw the roach in the tub. Then I also noticed things weren't as clean as they looked at first glance. Killed the roach and flushed it. I should've checked out then, but I was exhausted. However, about 3 hours and 3 additional roaches later, I did go on and check out a little before 12 midnight because there's just no way I can sleep in this room; and since I can't sleep anyway I might as well head home (because I'm only going to be more exhausted sitting up killing roaches).
