Disliked: What I didn’t like about the property was the excessive noise. Around 1 a.m., someone above my room was banging on a door, seemingly trying to gain entry. A dog was also barking, and when I contacted the front desk, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, there was a noticeable dip or hole in the mattress, which made sleeping uncomfortable. I checked out a day early due to these issues, but was denied a refund because it was after 11 a.m. the day prior and housekeeping had already left. The price I paid was also higher than expected—I was charged $568, which was supposed to include the deposit, but the hotel still required an additional $100 upon check-in. Lastly, despite booking a non-smoking room, the entire hotel—including my room—smelled strongly of smoke, which lingered in my clothes, including my work uniform.
