Superb

One of the nicest places...

Liked: Very clean,quiet,staff exceptionally nice..The girl at front desk remembered us from our previous stay a month ago..Super sweet girl...Pool area nice,the bowl of fresh apples in lobby is nice touch too!
Disliked: No microwave in room..Coffee is terrible.

Family trip and all fit...

Liked: The air conditioning and only room locally to fit all our family in one room (had apartment style with bedroom and living rooms/ kitchen connected all in one.) TVs are smaller but nice having one in each room for the kids and rooms decent enough sizes. Tub/ shower area was bigger space than many have so that was nice to have more room to move around. Much more reasonable pricing than other places. Good size, comfortable temp pool. Desk attendant was friendly.
Disliked: Beds were uncomfortable firm spring mattresses. We originally had our family of 5 set for the room, only 3 towels were provided. Curtains don't close all the way, letting light in at night. Hot tub wasn't working with no notification prior and I'd been looking forward to that. There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom by the doorway ("apartment suite") and there was a napkin or something similar stuffed in it as a repair. No fan in bathroom so fogs up fast and stays humid. Hot water didn't last real long in shower.

Overpriced for what it was.

Liked: Breakfast was fine, bed was fine. Shower was wonderful.
Disliked: Room was very small and very dreary.

Over all, we really enjoyed...

Liked: The staff was very helpful showing us how to find our destination for a tour of the soo locks.
Disliked: My only complaint is that they dropped the ball for compliance to guests in a wheelchair. The outside doors are equipped with an automatic opener system which would be wonderful IF THEY ACUTUALLY WORKED! I was told that these doors have not worked for a long time! I challenge the management to get in a wheelchair and try to open those doors without using their legs! It would be nice to have an opener system on the fire doors to.
