VERY CONCERNING WITH CARD THEFT

Liked: When I checked in Saturday April 6th around 4pm the lady at the front desk was wonderful and polite, the room was very clean also love the new heated tiles. Pool and hot tub are always really good as well.
Disliked: VERY CONCERNING**************** At check in the lovely lady took deposit via debit "charge" and informed me when I would leave the deposit would be refunded onto the same card at the front desk. When I went to check out....... I noticed I have 9 different transaction on two different cards, my debit card was charged for the room and the $200 hold and my visa was also charged for the room and not refunded. So all in total $496 remains taken from super 8 motel when the room charge in total should have been $148. The gentleman at the desk was not helpful at all, very argumentative and refused to fix the issue. In the time I was there 1 hour, 4 other people came up to him and indicated the same thing. I have never had an issue like this in where a reputable company has stolen an extra $348 from my account. And will not refund my money, I have reached out to Wyndham itself for help as the guy at the port Elgin location would no help at all.

Liked: Close to everything and yet peaceful and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We’ll definitely recommend it to anyone.

Liked: We liked the location and pool and hot tub was amazing
Disliked: The parking lot was not salted properly and my husband fell. Right beside veterans parking we did tell steff hopefully they did salt it again.

Disliked: The only problem I had was that the spa bath tub did not work and given that was a significant reason for me spending the extra money that really negatively impacted on my stay. It was not working when I arrived but they came and rectified quickly by turning on a breaker. However once started it only ran for a few minutes before blowing the breaker again. I reported it to them for repair by an electrician. I understand things happen but unfortunately it happened to me! I hope they rectify it quickly for future guests and given their attention I am confident they will. Otherwise it was a great stay and I would go back again and also recommend them to others.
