Below average. Disappointing.

Disliked: It is a tired, and dated motel. No ambience. Caters to working crew personnel from railways, fire crews, etc. Very basic.Beds appeared quite clean and tidy.Super 8 in Cochrane, Alberta was head and tails better.Will look at modestly more expensive places in future, probably private B and B.

Comfortable and clean

Liked: Everything, clean, fresh, washroom well stocked, bed was super comfortable and close to the downtown core where the restaurants are. Breakfast was included! and the cost was more than half the price I paid at the Travel Lodge dump in Kenora. Same hotel chain, just way better management, and takes the health and safety laws seriously.
Disliked: Nothing. This place is well managed and clean. The rates are good for travellers needing a stop for one night.

Bed bugs.

Disliked: I found a bed bug in the room. And told front desk about it and the first thing he asked me if I found it in this hotel. Well obviously, where would I find it? He just said maybe from other people, he doesn’t come up with a solution. Like he’s just looking at me.
