Super 8 by Wyndham Macleod Trail Calgary

Very disappointed. Room smelled stale.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Room was clean but had a horrible stale smell.

The clerk refused to give me an invoice for the cost of the room, although it was my money that had purchased it. The room was very small and stuffy and reeked of cigarette smoke although we had requested (and were given) an non-smoking room.

Liked: Very friendly staff
Disliked: Quality of room

You get what you pay...

Liked: It was a great location. Lots of places to shop and restaurants nearby. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Access to the property was easy and getting to major transportation routes was very good.
Disliked: It was noisy, not from traffic but between rooms. The parking lot is horrible, tight and difficult to get into and out of stalls when it was busy - at east one new door ding noted. The breakfast was dismal, fortunately there is an excellent breakfast restaurant right across MacLeod Trail that was terrific and very reasonable.

Liked: Close to all amenities and city. Breakfast was great and staff friendly.
Disliked: Nothing negative to write.

Liked: Great Stay. Clean, great location, great weekday prices. Room smelled a bit smokey, but we are smokers so it wasn't the worst.
Disliked: Staff at breakfast were AWESOME. Staff at checkin seemed bored and confused.

Great value, safe and clean.

Liked: It was close to where we needed to be and I felt safe with my young family. We could hardly hear any other guests unless they walked past our door.
Disliked: The smoking area is located right underneath some of the rooms’ windows and the smoke ended up coming in through our window. The parking lot is quite tight for a larger vehicle.
