Super 8 by Wyndham Homewood Birmingham Area

Really nice people who work there. Fairly decent breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Liked: Quiet for most part; nice TV.
Disliked: Smaller than picture shows.

Got back to my room, turned on the light and saw three cockroaches on the bedside table.

Disliked: Roaches.

Disliked: Unsafe. There was a man that was very disorderly yelling and screaming and cursing at a woman in the parking lot after 9pm. I told him to shut up. He followed me in the main lobby and started threatening , screaming and cursing at me. I told the front desk clerk to call the police several times. He wouldn’t do it. The crazy man finally walked out of the lobby. The police should have been called right away!! The man was very belligerent and could have had a weapon!

Great stay overall.

Liked: The staff was friendly, it was in a great location, the water was hot, and I got a good bang for my buck.
Disliked: Cleaning needs to be a bit better. I found someone else’s drawer behind the bed.

Disliked: Terrible smoke smell. Everything was old & worn. Breakfast was advertised but was nothing more than small muffins. Very disappointed especially for the price.

Liked: It was supposed to be a non smoking room and the room smelled like it’s been smoked in before our stay. My nose was stopped up from it.

Liked: Room has an older look to it carpet was dirty and they didn’t have breakfast nothing but muffins and beverages!
