A bed to sleep in,...

Disliked: I was charged two times for the stay. First payment was through booking.com then I was charged again when I checked in. I spoke to a young lady, Aereal, at check out and questioned the second charge. She assured me that she would speak to the manager. She did reach out a little later to say that the charges would be reversed. It's only been a day so on that I will give a few more days.The stairs to the second floor look as if they should be replaced. They were rusted and pieces were hanging away. On the inside of the door you could see torn pieces of wall, there was a large gap between the top of the door and frame. Although the policy states "No Smoking" the bedspread clearly had several spots where the material seemed to be melted away. The refrigerator didn't get very cold and this was concerning because we have medicine that needs refrigeration. Breakfast consisted of our choice between Cheerios or Frosted Flakes. The coffee was lukewarm and extremely strong. The tv did not have a very clear picture. Everything we tried to watch was fuzzy/grainy. The window was grimy and dirty so looking out at the view was impossible. The water isn't very drinkable. As my husband put it, "it tastes like dirt". We did take a few photos but I'm not able to upload them here.

Liked: It was convenient location for me
Disliked: When I reserved this room through a third party, it said smoking room. When I arrived, I was told it was a non-smoking room. The heater didn’t work, the tv picture was fuzzy, there was no coffee maker, no refrigerator, & no tissues in the room. It was not very clean either. The bedspreads were ancient w/burn holes in them. Cigarette butts in parking area not cleaned up.

A convenient, no frills stop...

Liked: Convenient location for C&O bikers. Close to grocery store. Comfortable, clean room.
Disliked: Skip the breakfast and stock up at the store. Coffee, yes, but not much else to offer besides donuts, cold cereal, instant oatmeal packs. Some yogurt, juice, fruit would be nice.
