Liked: Looks a little run down from the outside but lobby was updated and room was clean. You really cant beat the price when you’re passing through or just staying a night or two in the area. Bed was clean no signs of bugs and the room had a small refrigerator, desk, and chair. It’s rare for a true budget hotel to have breakfast at all so I wasn’t surprised to find they only had cereal and oatmeal. First room we got had a dead door lock so after the second attempt with new keys we were promptly moved to another room.
Disliked: Could use some updating but overall wasn’t bad considering what you pay. Bathroom was clean but tub desperately needed to be recaulked. No overhead light in the room at all just two lamps but they worked pretty well and the room got good natural light if you don’t mind the window open. No plugs near the bed except one on the bedside lamp and the two USB ports were completely stripped so they didn’t work.

Liked: The room was comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast was not as advertised. Breakfast bars and oatmeal packages were available. There was no hot water to make the oatmeal.

Disliked: The blanket had holes in and had crumbs on it. There was no stopper to take a bath and the knob to turn water on broken.

A bed to sleep in,...
Disliked: I was charged two times for the stay. First payment was through booking.com then I was charged again when I checked in. I spoke to a young lady, Aereal, at check out and questioned the second charge. She assured me that she would speak to the manager. She did reach out a little later to say that the charges would be reversed. It's only been a day so on that I will give a few more days.The stairs to the second floor look as if they should be replaced. They were rusted and pieces were hanging away. On the inside of the door you could see torn pieces of wall, there was a large gap between the top of the door and frame. Although the policy states "No Smoking" the bedspread clearly had several spots where the material seemed to be melted away. The refrigerator didn't get very cold and this was concerning because we have medicine that needs refrigeration. Breakfast consisted of our choice between Cheerios or Frosted Flakes. The coffee was lukewarm and extremely strong. The tv did not have a very clear picture. Everything we tried to watch was fuzzy/grainy. The window was grimy and dirty so looking out at the view was impossible. The water isn't very drinkable. As my husband put it, "it tastes like dirt". We did take a few photos but I'm not able to upload them here.
