Super 8 by Wyndham Grapevine/DFW Airport Northwest

This was our first stay at this hotel but it will not be our last. They made us feel so welcome. The shuttle was a plus.

Liked: Courtney at the front desk was awesome.
Disliked: Nothing negative.

Good location for the airport

Liked: I chose this hotel as it is close to the airport and to the small town of Grapevine that I was planning to visit. The hotel is dated and needs some updating but it had everything that I needed. The room was modern but some updates are needed. I slept well. Breakfast is basic, cereal, toast and there is also a waffle maker. The staff were friendly and laid back and theer is a free airport shuttle which is very useful. There are also a couple of restaurants close to the hotel which I ate at which are good.
Disliked: As I said above, some updating is needed. While the bedroon looked modern, it was comletely let down by an old chair with holes, a very old fridge and the security light that overlooked my room and was on all night that showed the holes in the curtain lining. These things really should be addressed as it`s just not good. I know you get what you pay for but still, it doesn`t make the hotel look good. For refernce I think my room number was 237

Disliked: It wasn't the cleanest. Breakfast left alot to be desired. The AC wasn't the best

Disliked: Ce Central location. But a very quiet and peacefuay.BMW, Porsche,.Mercedes Benz, Audi and dfw memorial is just 1 mile away. Shopping a and restaurants within walking distance. And a great pool well maintained.

Liked: I recently stayed at Super 8 by Wyndham Grapevine and overall had a good experience. The location is excellent—close to DFW Airport, which is very convenient. The room was neat and clean, and the price was quite reasonable. Staff were polite and helpful. The coffee at breakfast was surprisingly great and worth mentioning.
Disliked: However, there are a few things that could be improved. It was disappointing that no complimentary water was provided, which felt like a basic hospitality miss. The gym didn’t have a weight scale, and a luggage scale would also be useful, especially since many guests fly out from DFW. Breakfast was average—adding at least some eggs and bottled water would make it much better.
