Super 8 by Wyndham Gananoque - Country Squire Resort

A place to sleep overnight...

Liked: The Room was fairly clean and was quiet but I suspect it was because there were few people. They staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included boiled eggs, breads, jam, cream cheese, yoguart etc. The coffee was very good.
Disliked: The building is very run down and needs many repairs. The room was missing towels, soap, shampoo and garbage pails. This was an error and the staff was quick to respond. The breakfast was not good. The omelettes were cooked earlier and left in the fridge. They were served cold. The toaster only toasted one side of the bread and therefore took a long time to toast.

Liked: Bed was fine
Disliked: Listing advertised both a fitness centre as well as breakfast - neither were available. This (and price) was why I cose the location. They did allow me to use the "closed" gym - as a male (meaning felt safe while completely alone in a secluded basement) familiar with gyms I was able to complete my planned workout, but it was disgusting (cold, mold & mildew, rust on weights) - thus closed

Got less than we expected

Liked: Bookedking room and not available. Hot breakfast advertised was two blueberry muffins

Good value for $

Liked: Close to highway, nice balcony overlooking pool/green space. Comfy beds
Disliked: Said breakfast incl big just grab n go. They said it was temporary.
