Liked: Friendly staff, good location
Disliked: Floor was nor swept. Lots of hair and coins on the floor.

Liked: - The location is nice, near the entrance of shenandoah np, at the border of front royal city.- The room was very clean.- The staff is very friendly and gave us the excellent recommendation to eat at spelunkers, across the street (the ice cream is wonderful).
Disliked: - I missed some yoghurt at breakfast.

Liked: The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. To be honest, I was a little skeptical upon arrival when I saw the outside of the building. It looks dated, but the room was nice. I would stay again if in the area.
Disliked: The bed (mattress) was kind of soft but still doable (I prefer a firm mattress). Upon inspection of the room, I found a partially filled soda bottle in a drawer, but that was a minor thing.

Liked: The room had very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. The bed was very uncomfortable. had to go and buy an air mattress. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges. It was a cheap room. You're better off spending a little more somewhere else.

decent place if you are...

Liked: The AC worked well, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room had a working microwave with a running shower. It did the job for our weekend stay in Front Royal and I would choose to stay again. You get a decent place to stay for a decent price! Close to shenendoah park and skyline caverns. Pleasantly surprised. I travel a lot! Based on price, amenities, room condition, and noise levels: I rate this hotel a 5.5 out of 10. Neutral feelings about it, but leaning more toward positive based on customer service and price! (85 a night for 1 king bed + microwave/fridge)
Disliked: LOTS OF NOISE and banging!! Our room was right by the entrance and elevator so we heard everything all hours. Sounds like kids stampeding through the halls and hammers hitting the walls. Didn't sleep well. Hair everywhere (in the mini fridge, in the shower, on the sheets...). Damage to the wall from prior guests. Charged the wrong card, but it wasn't too big of a problem because if you do credit card, they don't take out a (refundable) accidental damage coverage fee of $100.
