Disliked: Room was full of dust around edging of carpet in my room. Can tell they don’t clean rooms

Liked: Super clean rooms office hallways and eating lounge. Plenty of towels and coffee in rooms! Like that the breakfast hours started early and we're for 4 whole hours!!! Staff was excellent and friendly and helpful!!!
Disliked: No complaints on anything at all.

Disliked: The staff and one other came out of the back room, with the smell of poor quality marijuana permeating the air. The shower was full blast hot, with no correction provided by the knob. And the shower rod appeared to be held on by painted over tape.We won’t be back.

Inexpensive, but very dated and...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: No elevator, luckily we only stayed one night so we didn’t have much for luggage. It would be difficult to carry large suitcases up the stairs. The heater wasn’t working when we got to our room. The manager came right up to “fix” it. He was messing with the plug a lot. My husband was pretty sure he may have had some tin foil on the plug and adjusted it when he came in. Regardless it did run and the room got warm-just not sure about safety. The pictures for the breakfast were deceiving. One picture showed eggs and sausage, so I thought we’d be fine. We were in Eau Claire just for the night and had hoped to have breakfast there and be on our way, but when we got down there it was just baked goods and pancakes, which my husband cannot eat. So we ended up having to go out for breakfast. We stay in Eau Claire several times a year, so we thought we’d try a less expensive hotel-for us, it wasn’t worth it.

Disliked: the owner was very rude and incredibly intimidating. He extorted cash from me at the last minute at the desk of $150 for supposedly a deposit which I never received back.... I felt threatened and vulnerable. I highly recommend staying far away from this hotel. It was dark, iit was dirty and I have nothing good to say about my experience at this particular location.
