Disappointing

Liked: The hot tub. Most of the staff was friendly. A couple of the staff were even from our neck of the woods
Disliked: Our phone didn't work .A staff member came and fixed it ,but it seems as soon as she left it quit working. The room was so small that I felt I was put in a closet. The heater didn't seem to keep the room very warm. The sink took a while to drain. There are stairs you have to go up and down to get anywhere.

Deadwood Super 8

Liked: We were greeted by Shannon at the desk who was very helpful and kind. She'd assisted me in adding an extra night to our stay and there were no issues. Our room was clean and comfortable and so were our sheets and bath linens. Lots of pillows on the bed! We both slept very well.Never needed to adjust the room temp which is almost unheard of for a hotel room. Blackout curtains! Trolley available at a stop across the street to take you into Deadwood every hour for $2--be aware that they do NOT give change back. Pretty stream and walking trail just behind the hotel. The pool and hot tub were amazing! Restaurant and casino on site.
Disliked: No microwave in the room. Maybe a box valance/cornice over the window to knock down the light in the morning.
