Downstairs Room Request Not Guaranteed!!!!!

Liked: Dog Friendly. Location.
Disliked: I booked a downstairs room/pet room ahead of time and it was confirmed. When I arrived the clerk said he had an upstairs room only. I was extremely upset by this and explained this downstairs room was confirmed weeks ahead of time and due to my degenerative disc disease in my back I could not take luggage or dogs up stairs. He finally offered me a downstairs, king room without a key for the door. Explaining anytime I left the room I would need to go to the office and get the clerk to open the door with the Master Key. I was not happy about that as it was not only a very inconvenient process with 2 dogs I intended to take to go potty periodically, I felt it left me with limited freedom to get in the room as needed without going to the office for entry. Then the clerk explained it was $30.00 a per dog which I think is too HIGH for a dog to be in the room. All this after an 8 hour drive through storms was not exactly my idea of how I wanted it to go. Had I thought there would be another hotel to stay at I would have. But, even then I would be paying for the room because I went with the no cancellation deal when I signed up online. BTW FYI I have stayed in this same hotel for over 20 years and never had any problems until this trip!!

Great except for the keys.

Liked: Drugs from other customers in room next to my mine then moved has a anther customer pull a gun on me police did nothing
Disliked: I’ve stayed there about three times and had the people that are staying there doing drugs all three times
